We are seeking a Communications Intern to help us deliver our new communications strategy, using communications as a tool to tackle poverty and inequality.
Full time (35 hours per week), 1 year fixed contract
Salary: £19,565 to £20,059 (London Living Wage), with generous pension and leave allowance
Location: Home-working, with option to work from Moorgate office when COVID-19 restrictions allow
Closing date: Midnight, Sunday 31 January 2021
Interview date: Week commencing 15 February 2021
We fund and campaign on important issues affecting the lives of low-income Londoners; from tackling London’s housing problems, to improving career prospects and pay for those on low-incomes, to bringing together groups to push for change, and supporting community groups to thrive. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about social change and communications to work on a broad range of issues to improve tackle poverty and inequality in the capital.
The role will involve a wide range of activity including supporting communications planning, story-telling and research, assisting with channel management, grantee amplification, and administrative tasks.
