The Trust for London’s mission is to tackle poverty and inequality. To do this effectively we want to have a staff, trustee and co-optee group that reflects the diverse population of London. We also want to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute to the Trust, and that we have a working environment in which people can be themselves, can achieve their full potential and flourish.
The diversity survey is designed to help us understand the composition of the staff, trustee and co-optee groups. This information is used to help us make sure that we are delivering our commitment and that we make positive interventions in areas where there may be under-representation.
This information is reviewed on a regular basis, e.g. recruitment of staff and appointment of trustees and co-optees, so that we are clear that we are reaching out to all sections of the community and that there are no barriers to working for and with the Trust.
